

This next card is for the monochromatic with a twist challenge. The task was to create a brown monochromatic card with a tiny bit of red. Strangely enough, the color challenge for this week ended up being Kraft, Real Red and Chocolate Chip. So I combined both challenges and away I went!
I guess that this card has a few more layers than normal with the paper piecing. I think it still qualifies for CAS. I really love how I could pick out the hearts in the steam with the red. If I thought I could control my Crystal Effects, I would have glazed up the hearts a bit.

Pumpkin card:
Stamps: Holiday Blitz, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Very Vanilla, Dusty Durango, Soft Suede
Ink: Dusty Durango, Soft Suede
Accessories: MM wire, paper piercing tool (to wrap wire), glue dots, stampin' dimensionals, 1 1/4" square punch, 1 3/8" square punch
Coffee card:
Stamps: Hodge Podge of Happiness (Unity)
Paper: Kraft, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Real Red, Versamark pen
Accessories: Vanilla taffeta ribbon, Nestabilities, stampin' dimensionals, corner rounder, two way glue pen
Techniques: paper piecing
