Now we are getting primed for Christmas with our Nutcrackers set.  This set has two lovely nutcrackers to color any way you like.  I let my 8 year old pick the colors for me .  She was very excited and ran to get her hard cover picture book of The Nutcracker.  She found the colors in the story and I did my best to create him true to the picture she had selected.  I had to ad lib just a bit because my stamped nutcracker has a different uniform than my storybook nutcracker.  My 8 year old was pleased nonetheless.  That was a relief (if you have spent any time with 8 year olds you can appreciate how they tell it like it is)!

Thanks for stopping by today.  Come on back tomorrow for more creativity!!!

  4. Great job coloring him. When I started, I was at a loss on how to color mine so I had to google them. They all seemed pretty much the same, so I left thinking that there were limited ways to color him. I guess what was limited was my imagination. Seeing how we all colored him so differently has been fun. Great job showcasing this month's sets.
