I was thinking really rustic here. I love the country feel and wanted to use kraft as it reminds me of burlap and wood rail fences. I colored on kraft card stock with my colored pencils. It's always so surprising when the color shows us really well. The argyle embossing came from the diamonds in the stamp pattern. If you read my blog post from yesterday, my kindergarten friends would love to correct me. "Mrs. Storie! Those are rhombuses, not diamonds". Of course, I would happily reply, "What other shapes do you see?". We are always learning in Kindergarten!
Thanks for stopping by. Come on back tomorrow for more creativity.

Pretty and elegant. I like the kraft EF'd BG and the image and colors look perfect.
ReplyDeleteSome of my GCSE kids struggle with Rhombus! Love your sweet card and would not have realised colouring on kraft would be so pretty.
ReplyDeletePerfect country card! Love that you used craft CS.
ReplyDeleteI like your card. coloring on kraft with color pencils is one of my favorite ways to use my pencils.

I really like this one. The "frame" of embossed kraft sets off the image so nicely.
ReplyDeleteThe backgrd paper you used has a metallic look. So pretty!
