For today, I have moved from the forest or the woods to the beach. Yep, we are still outside in the Great Outdoors. I love this sand dollar image and couldn't wait to ink it up. I used water color paper for my sand dollar and sponged it strategically. Then, I used my chapstick (you read that correctly, my chapstick) to round out the sand dollar. I created some beach for my sand dollar to rest on after that. I used my color spritzer to spray on flecks of four different colors and then sponged white and teal on the torn edge of my "water".
Enjoy the hop! Come back each day and let us take you to the Great Outdoors. Get to work on the tutorials! Show us what you made by July 8th and check back on July 8th and check back on July 9th, 2016 to see if you won!!

ReplyDeleteToni, So creative and makes me yearn for another trip to the ocean!
ReplyDeleteToni, I love the torn edges of the water. Your sand dollar looks so realistic. Great job with the shaping over the chapstick. Perfect amount of curve.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card!
