Hello and Happy Saturday! This week, Gloria has chosen the theme for the Friends of Flourishes challenge. She picked water coloring as our focus for this week. It's not my strong suit, but I really enjoyed myself. I can see trying this technique again. It was quite relaxing to paint the sunflower.
Today's card features Year of Flowers 2 and the beautiful sunflower in the top corner of the stamp set. Beverly Cole has masterfully illustrated this set which includes four gorgeous florals. I embossed my image in gold and then went to work painting it up. Lastly, I die cut it and stamped the flower name in the bottom left hand corner. Did you know that Facebook has a Flourishes page that you can follow and enjoy? Here is the link for you. Now, it's time to visit the Friends of Flourishes and see what they have created with beautiful water colors: Davi, Gloria, Kren, Shirley, Toni, Vickie.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
