Happy New Year's Eve! It's time for another Friends of Speedy TV challenge and today's theme is New Years. I worked with a New Year's sentiment from a Mark's Finest Papers sentiment from Peaceful Nuthatch. Then I added some potted Amaryllis. I didn't force any bulbs this year, but I wish I had. My paper Amaryllis will just have to do. These images are from Amaryllis Definition.
There aren't too many extra details on this card. I used my Copic multiliner to create a border around my stamped images and then layered a couple of ribbons under my main image. I also went over the stamen (I'm not sure of my flower parts here) with a white gel pen. I have the worst luck with white gel pens. Can anyone recommend a good one?
Thanks for stopping by and have a safe New Year!

looks great, I dont see anything wrong with the white gel pen...keep up the beautiful work...
Darling card and wonderfully coloured flowers. Wishing you a blessed 2013 :)
Lovely card. White Gel Pens have to be lidded quickly after use or they dry up and then there is no return! I have had many in my time that have been relegated to the WPB! Happy New Year.
A beautiful card! I think you did a great job on this card - It is the best! I have a white gel pen called Gelly Roll Medium - I forgot where I purchased it - I remember someone recommended it - as you can tell, I don't use it a lot but I know I got it for eyes and it worked great! Happy New Year!
I love how you repeated the image and your coloring is beautiful. Your penned frames always amaze me. My hand drawing is way too squiggly!
Gorgeous card. I love the coloring of your Amaryllis'
So pretty! Love the trio of beautiful flowers!
