The special stamp set we have for you this month is:
Calendar
The mini stamp set we have for you this month is:
Mini New Year
Here's the Design Team: Patty, Lois, Jane C, Pam, Pat G, Thrifty Stamper, Marilynn, Karen K, Bonnie, Kathy, Cathy C, Toni, Sue W, Janine, An'Jenic, Shirley Q, Amy, Gail, Marks Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.
When I first saw this set, all I could think about was my mother's patterns in her sewing room. I pulled up some vintage patterns online and set to work. I decided that Mark's Finest Papers would put out a new line of "patterns" and I named them "Let's go out!". I borrowed the 25 cents stamp from previously released All Postal and the numbers from the new set called Calendar. I created a bottom border for my card with the measuring tape from I'm In Stitches and some faux stitching of my own. Thoughts?
Don't forget to head off to Sue's blog now. Thanks for coming by!

I love what you have done with this! Very stylish, so period and beautifully designed!
Amazing! What a clever idea and such great way to combine a number of stamp sets. This would be a perfect card for my sister who teaches sewing. I might just have to borrow this idea.
Wonderful. This made me think of a sewing pattern pkg.

I thought patterns too when I first saw this set. I just couldn't figure out how to use. You did a fabulously creative job doing your pattern. I love the elements from the other sets. I am going to have to CASE you. Job Well Done!!!!
Such a fun idea to make a pattern out of this set!!! Lots of ideas to use this set for. Beautifully done!!!
Stylish creation you did a wonderful job - the set does remind me of old sewing patterns too - Enjoy your day!
Do like how you did you card as a patten
Very well done
This card looks just like we did when we went
to church or a bridal shower. We dressed to the nines. Carole
the measuring tape stamping in the back ground is a cool touch.
Fashionably fantastic. Beautiful card with the pop of color on your lady.
Great card - reminds me of my Mum's patterns too.
Oh, this card reminds me of my old patterns too! I learned to sew in Junior high with patterns that looked a lot like this!
I love the creative inspiration of the sewing patterns! Used to find them at thrift stores, but they're getting harder to find-nice to know I can replicate them-great job!
Toni,
Very pretty card! I like the colors on the outfit and the kraft CS. Fun idea on using an old pattern. Unfortunately, neither my Mother nor I can sew!
Super cute card-love the "pattern" idea. Thanks for sharing
