Good Monday morning! I'm back with another Friends of Speedy TV challenge! This week's challenge is to make a sympathy card. I'm sure I don't have to tell you that it is always a good idea to make one when you don't need one. Today, I wanted something soft. I got out my watercolor crayons and my water spritzing bottle. I colored up the flower image with my crayons and stamped the blooms around the top and left edges. After they dried a bit, I stamped my sentiments. I partially matted the bottom and right edges and sponged the other edges for just a bit of definition. Finally, I popped the whole thing up.
Let's not forget that Mark's Finest Papers offers a frees stamp set to one lucky participant. This week is the fabulous Dragonflies set! I hope you can play along and maybe win this gem!
Thanks for stopping by!
Details - Stamps: Huge Blooms (MFP), Oopsy Daisy (MFP), Pussy Willows (MFP); Paper: Watercolor paper, Rose Red, Crumb Cake; Ink: Early Espresso; Accessories: Watercolor Crayons, sponge dauber, stampin' dimensionals.
