The special stamp set we have for you this month is:
"Love Script"
"Big Cupcake"
I'm back with some more eye candy in the form of fabulous new images from Mark's Finest Papers. Today we are featuring the set called Hum Along. What a great collection! I embossed this particular image in black on vellum and colored from behind. I layered my vellum on white and matted with black. I place the whole thing on top of an embossed white card base. It's hard to see here, but I embossed the base with a striped embossing folder. I added a thin strip of rose colored ribbon to pull out the rose color in the center of the hibiscus.
Thanks for stopping by! Now, head off to see what Sue has cooked up for today!

I can't wait for our hummers to come back this spring! Such a beautiful bird!! Loving all the white space and how you framed the image. Nice touch with the red line.
Interesting technique to color on the back of the velum. The black really makes the flower pop.
Very pretty done with the vellum.
Your flowers are lovely!
This is a very attractive card. I love the black with the coral color. The bloom really pops.
Pretty, great color and coloring!
This is so pretty and a great technique to show it off!!
WOW what a beautiful card. The coloring is outstanding.
Gorgeous - never think of using Vellum unless it is in a challenge or I have a layout where I don't want to cover something - this looks great though.
Great design. The image looks very pretty on the vellum, and the red strip adds a nice accent.
Beautiful coloring and embossing!
Love this technique, soft and sweet!
Toni,
Beautiful and elegant - and such pretty colors!!
very pretty!!
Elegant card! The black scalloped border really makes the image stand out. Love your coloring of the hibiscus spray; I think the rose ribbon border adds exactly the perfect accent for this card. Really lovely.
Pretty colors.
Lovely card!

Very pretty. I like how the coloring behind the vellum looks. I don't think that I have ever tried that technique. Thanks for sharing.
