The mini stamp set we have for you this month is
"Wings"

This is the perfect set for me!  If you were here yesterday,  you know I have a countdown going on.  If you weren't here, I work at an elementary school and school lets out in FOUR more days.  The sentiment on my card could not be more true.  I went clean and simple as I was staying inside my comfort zone!  In the craziness that is the end of the school year, I need all the normalcy I can get!
On a less crazy, more happy note, I took my daughter to the local public library and got her signed up for the summer reading program.  This year I paid for a library card as I have a real reader now.  While we were at the library, I ran into some acquaintances I had not seen for a while and my daughter laid down with a book and read, oblivious to all around here.  After we got home with her new books, she took them all the couch and read for an hour straight.  I have a feeling this summer is going to revolve around the library which doesn't hurt my feelings at all!

Off you go to Sue's blog, but not before you comment!  Have a fantastic day!

Details - Stamps: Need A Vacation (MFP); Paper: Sweet Tooth White; Ink: Tuxedo Black; Accessories: Watercolor Crayons, aquapainter, corner chomper.

Great that you have a new reader in the house. As an ex teacher I can really empathise with how you are feeling and I just love the card!

I love how you used the words that come with the set.

Very nice CAS vacation card! And more importantly perhaps is the fact that your daughter is turning into a reader. I've been a reader all my life -- a great way to broaden your horizons!

Toni,
Very pretty scene and card. A few more days and you'll be free for the summer. Now I've got Alice Cooper's song going through my head. It's awesome that your daughter loves to read - it opens so many windows to the world!

What a great card-good job! I worked at a high school for over 30 years as a campus monitor and boy do I remember wishing I didn't have to be there...

How fun to have a reader! I loved summer reading programs when my kids were little. We lived at the library! I love how you stacked the sentiments. Awesome card.
