Hi all! I can't keep my thoughts off of baby projects since I got my new Verve set, To The Moon. It's fabulous!!! I don't always do cute images really well, but I think this set will be an exception for me.
There is a young woman at work who will be having a baby and going on maternity leave soon. I made this card for her shower, which is next week. I used Sankari's sketch for the 4th week of Viva La Verve. I wanted to use my liquid pearls, but they are opal colored and it just didn't work with the sponging I had done all over the card. So I whipped out some of my Kaisercraft pearls in latte. That worked fine for me.
I also had to tone down my organdy ribbon when I made the double bow. It looks much more pink when there are a couple of layers together that when it is single.
Thanks for stopping by!

Great use of Sankiri's sketch. That little raffie is adorable and I love the pearl circle.
