A Smile For Today

This sounds like a good plan for the day!  If I can just keep a smile on my face, then I am bound to feel just right (even if it keeps on raining)!  I think it's a plan I will keep for tomorrow too.  I have to go grocery shopping and that isn't always my favorite thing to do.

This card was made for the Limelight Papercraft's sketch challenge.  This week there was an emphasis on chipboard and I found this fun chipboard sentiment in my stash.  I built the rest of the card around it.  I picked some designer paper to match the colors and found a stamp that looked similar to the foliage on the card.  I offset the sentiment and "bam", I was done!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Details - Stamps: Spring Ephemeral (Flourishes); Paper: Whisper White, Night of Navy, BG Urban Prairie; Ink: Kiwi Kiss, Night of Navy, Barely Banana; Accessories: Nestabilities, stampin' dimensionals, liquid glue, stampin' sponge, random chipboard.

Oh, how cute! I love the circle focal point. I never think to dig through my chipboard/embellishments for my cards, I really should use some of that stuff from my stash! Thanks for the inspiration!
