Jan. 27- Finger Paint Book Marker by Sandy
Jan. 28- Water Background by Pat
Hello again! What a fun week this is turning out to be. I saw some really cool artwork on Pinterest and just had to try and replicate the look on a card! I love the image stamped on a book page and then outlined with white. I wasn't sure what medium to use so I experimented a little bit. I finally went with white acrylic paint and am very pleased with my outcome. I also gave the body of the boat and the waves a touch of color.
I hope you enjoy
the hop. Come back each day and let us take you to the beach. We hope to inspire
you to start your own fun in the sun. Get to work on the tutorials, show
us what you made by February 12th and check back on February 13, 2016 to see if
you are a winner.

Toni, This would make a great card for guys- beautifully masculine!
Oh my goodness! I love this stamping on a page idea. I have tried it but without outlining it in white, it seems to get lost. Great idea!
Great use of the print for the background. I have to try this now!
Wow, fantastic card. Love the book page you used. I like how you added the white outlining.
I love your technique, it looks amazing! You found the right printed background too.....sublime! Bravo!
I like the way you added the white shadow around the sailboat...it has a nice effect to it...well done
I really like the way that turned out....I have plenty of books that I got just for craft projects so I will have to try this sometime :) Hugs...Janie
This is a grand idea to stamp an image on a book page - I will make note - thanks for sharing your beautiful work and for the hop
The white outline and the buttons are fab touches to this lovely card!
I love the look of this card....thanks for sharing how you did it! The white outline is such a neat effect! Pretty card!
This is so pretty and really different. The book page makes a great background and the paint outline really makes the boat pop!
I love the look of the book page background and this classic card design. It would be perfect for any occasion.
