I love it when you can take stamps that are not necessarily designed for Christmas and make them work on a Christmas card. That's exactly what I did here with a set called Big Trees. It's not a total stretch, but clearly when you look at the set...it's not for Christmas. The sweet little birds that decorate my tree are from Christmas Selections. If you have not seen this set, you should. If you want to talk about bang for your buck, this is it. There are 30 small images in this set. Love! Finally, I chose my sentiment to fit up in that corner. The Happy Christmas sentiment comes from Poinsettia Blooms. This particular kind of card, if you are unfamiliar, is called a center step card. I find it marvelous for showing off solo images, like the big tree.
If you've been hopping along, go on to Vickie. If not, you will want to start at the beginning. Here's the Design Team: Jane, Karen, Kren, Lois , Marilynn, Pat, Sandy, Sue, Toni,
Enjoy the hop and come back each day for more Christmas fun. We hope to inspire you to start your Christmas cards and projects. Get to work on the tutorials, show us what you made and check back on August 15 to see if you are a winner. Thanks for stopping by!

I love it, Toni! Step cards are one of my favorites, and this one really shows off those trees. Cute red birds and the pretty striped paper make this one a winner.
You ladies have the niftiest sets to work with. Those little cardinals are so adorable and look so perfect on that tree. TFS! kReN

I really like what you did with the big trees stamp set. Your idea has made me think outside the box and I'm excited to try a step card. Love the soft green color you used, and the little birds add so much!
Love your center step card!
