The special stamp set we have for you this month is:
Calendar

The mini stamp set we have for you this month is:
Mini New Year

When I first saw this set, all I could think about was my mother's patterns in her sewing room.  I pulled up some vintage patterns online and set to work.  I decided that Mark's Finest Papers would put out a new line of "patterns" and I named them "Let's go out!".  I borrowed the 25 cents stamp from previously released All Postal and the numbers from the new set called Calendar.  I created a bottom border for my card with the measuring tape from I'm In Stitches and some faux stitching of my own.  Thoughts?

Don't forget to head off to Sue's blog now.  Thanks for coming by!

Amazing! What a clever idea and such great way to combine a number of stamp sets. This would be a perfect card for my sister who teaches sewing. I might just have to borrow this idea.

Oh, this card reminds me of my old patterns too! I learned to sew in Junior high with patterns that looked a lot like this!

I love the creative inspiration of the sewing patterns! Used to find them at thrift stores, but they're getting harder to find-nice to know I can replicate them-great job!

Toni,
Very pretty card! I like the colors on the outfit and the kraft CS. Fun idea on using an old pattern. Unfortunately, neither my Mother nor I can sew!
